Joyce Brilinski, the firm's owner since 1989, has more than 30 years of accounting and income tax preparation experience. Before becoming a reputable industry professional and IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer, Joyce obtained an Associate's Degree in accounting. Tax laws continue to change; Joyce changes with them. In fact, she attends continuing education classes each year to ensure she's up to date on all related tax laws and changes.
Joining the team in 1991, Kimberly LaBrecque is the firm's go-to tax and financial accountant. She holds an Associate's Degree in accounting and applied science, as well as a Bachelor of Science in business accounting from the University of Phoenix.
A full-time professional since 1998, Lisa Medina is an IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer. She holds an Associate's Degree in applied science of Accounting from Alpena Community College, and has studied business management at Northwood University.
Elaine joined our staff in 2014 as A Tax Professional. Elaine is a certified IRS Tax Return Preparer and she holds an Associate Degree from Jackson Community College in Business. Elaine continues her education in tax law by attending MSU tax schools annually to maintain her license and to keep up to date on the ever changing tax laws.
Erin joined our staff in 2015 as a our full time office assistant. Erin is the first person you meet when you walk into our lobby and she will greet you with her friendly voice when you call our office. Erin is the person that holds the glue together by managing our busy schedules, assisting clients, and she is responsible for the routine tasks that keep the office running smoothly.
